Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We absolutely can. From gluten-free to dairy-free and vegan, Mangia can tailor a menu to your specific diet without sacrificing flavor.
Is there a limit to amount of people per party?
For most gatherings, Mangia can accommodate 30 persons per party. However, if you are looking for a larger party, let’s chat about it!
Do you offer cooking classes?
We sure do! We offer private cooking lessons or you can treat your friends to the gift of learning in your own home.
What kitchen equipment must be available on site?
Mangia is a private chef service that cooks on site. In order for us to do our job properly the site must have a working oven & stove top range, refrigerator, and running potable water.
Do you provide dish ware, flatware or linens?
Mangia provides compostable dish ware in the event the site does not have china included.
Do you accommodate children?
Of course! Homemade Mac and cheese? Yes, please.
Does Mangia have a travel fee? How far will you travel?
Mangia will travel up to 1.5 hours from our home base of Portland Maine. Anything over 45 minutes will incur a travel fee.
Does Mangia throw themed parties?
You bet! Fiesta night, Mediterranean, Italian, and so many more. Not only can we supply a themed menu, but a themed table scape to accompany it.
How long does a dinner party usually run?
Dinner parties usually run between three and four hours. Mangia will arrive early for preparation, and leave promptly after the necessary cleanup procedures have been implemented.
